The Innosuisse Flagship project Think Earth recently held its first plenary event on January 20, 2025, marking the first year since starting the project while also looking forward towards the future. Over 80 partners, including researchers, developers, planners, and manufacturers, met together at ETH Zurich to hear updates and future plans from all 10 Think Earth subprojects. Representatives of the SWIRCULAR Innosuisse Flagship project also presented their ongoing work in developing a digital ecosystem for a circular construction industry in Switzerland. As a 2024 highlight of the Think Earth project, Wolfram Kubler presented interesting work from the first Think Earth case study, the MANAL pavilion by our implementation partner Oxara. The event emphasized the importance of exchanging ideas and experience between disciplines, and also between different areas of research, practice, and industry.
