Earth Construction Forum, October 3-4, 2025
The first international Earth Construction Forum (ECF) will take place on October 3–4, 2025, at the OST – Eastern Switzerland University of Applied Sciences in Rapperswil, Switzerland. Special sessions will be dedicated to the flagship project “Think Earth.” Abstracts for the scientific and technical sessions can be submitted until June 30, 2025.
The Earth Construction Forum (ECF) 2025 brings together researchers, practicing engineers, architects, producers, students, and the supporting industry from Europe and around the world to share knowledge and experience on current developments in earth-based materials, and to identify their further applications and potentials. The conference will span two days, with keynote lectures on Friday morning in German (English translation will be provided) and English, followed by scientific sessions from Friday afternoon until Saturday midday in English.
Open Call for Scientific Contributions
The scientific sessions will focus on the technical and mechanical aspects of earth-based materials and structures. The Open Call closes on June 30th 2025. Lecture topics can be submitted via abstract (300 characters) in English.
